A message from Workforce NOW Executive Director:

Workforce NOW was created to strengthen the connection between education and employment in the Fredericksburg region. Through initiatives like the Intern Expo, Mock Interview Day, educator engagement, and employer partnerships, Workforce NOW has helped hundreds to thousands of students connect with real work-based learning opportunities while supporting businesses in building their future talent pipeline.

This platform expands that work by serving as a regional hub for internships and work-based learning. It provides resources for businesses looking to host interns, a place for employers to share internship, externship, apprenticeships, and other opportunities, and a way for students to explore pathways that connect classroom learning with real careers.

Our goal is simple: make it easier for businesses to invest in talent and easier for students to find meaningful career experiences.
